Gleim's "Learn to Fly Books" Available for Young Eagles

Through the years, many pilots have prepared for our written tests with help from Dr. Irvin Gleim and his books with the red covers. Gleim Publications has also published a 34-page book called "Learn to Fly, Become a Pilot" which covers many of the common questions people ask about learning to fly. From the requirements to obtain a recreational or private license to how airplanes fly, these books provide a wonderful introduction for Young Eagles.

Gleim Publications has offered to provide copies of "Learn to Fly" free of charge to any EAA Chapter or EAA Young Eagles Pilot to give to their next Young Eagle. To obtain a supply of the books, contact Gleim Publications via E-mail

As Dr. Gleim said, "We have designed (the book) it with Young Eagles in mind and we aspire to convince them that they can and should train to become a pilot."

The Young Eagles Office sincerely appreciates Dr. Gleim and Gleim Publications for their continuing support of the EAA Young Eagles Program.
